We are Medical Protection Society, the world’s leading member-owned, not-for-profit medical defence organisation (MDO) for doctors, dentists, and healthcare professionals.
Medical defence means assisting members with the wide range of legal and ethical problems that can arise from their professional practice. This can include assistance with clinical negligence claims, complaints, medical and dental council inquiries, legal and ethical dilemmas, disciplinary procedures, inquests, and fatal accident inquiries.

Supporting International Medical Graduates (IMGs)
We understand that doctors who have qualified overseas and move to the UK to practice medicine have a different experience to doctors who qualified in the UK and, as a result, their needs are different.
