As a Medical Protection member, it is important that you understand the purpose for which the Medical Protection Society (MPS) exists and the rules by which it is governed.
Medical Protection is signed up to the MDO Voluntary Code of Practice which came into force in January 2025. The code lays out a set of principles covering corporate governance, treatment of members, benefits, decision making, complaints, and financial transparency.
