MPS criteria for speaker requests
If you do not provide all information requested, we may be unable to process your request and incomplete applications will be returned and a new request would be needed.
We are not always able to provide a speaker given the number of requests we receive. Audience size, travel time and time of day are taken into account when managing these requests. In office hours are easier to accommodate.
The criteria required is a minimum audience size of 30 delegates. Talks are usually 40 to 60 minutes in duration, including time for questions and answers.
In accepting your invitation, please be aware that MPS does not allow its presenters to provide advance copies of their presentations, unless the host is able to agree to certain conditions designed to ensure that it is not copied or distributed beyond that required for the presentation.
Read real-life cases of complaints, claims and clinical negligence taken from our archives. Chosen to give you clear learning points to help you avoid similar situations and reduce your risk, the cases also feature advice from medicolegal experts.
Initiatives to transform the NHS are changing the way GPs and consultants work. At-scale arrangements are increasingly common and clinical contracts are frequently delivered through private organisations and limited companies. Medical Protection can provide uniquely tailored indemnity and support that we can provide for your organisation and employees.
Factsheets are short guides to particular medicolegal issues providing essential and practical advice for members in the UK.
